Thread action and point geometry
Thread-forming and thread-cutting behaviour, pilot-hole condition and point geometry are reviewed together to match the substrate and intended engagement.
Request QuoteFastenersFromTurkey supplies thread-forming and thread-cutting self-tapping screws from Turkey for industrial RFQs. Joint, substrate, point, head, drive, material, coating, documentation, quantity and export scope are confirmed for each order.

Self-tapping screws supplied from Turkey
Confirm these order-specific inputs before quotation.
| Field | Order input | Confirmation |
|---|---|---|
| Product scope | Thread-forming or thread-cutting self-tapping screw for the stated joint and substrate | Type and application confirmed per RFQ |
| Standard/drawing | Applicable ISO or DIN reference, controlled drawing or customer specification | Governing revision confirmed per RFQ |
| Dimensions/thread | Thread, length, head, drive, point and applicable tolerances | Dimensional inputs confirmed per RFQ |
| Material/mechanical | Material and required property class or mechanical values | Order requirement confirmed before quotation |
| Finish/coating | Coating and corrosion requirement for the stated service | Finish scope confirmed per RFQ |
| Documentation | Required certificate, inspection report or EN 10204 3.1/3.2 scope | Availability and deliverables confirmed per order |
| Commercial | Quantity, MOQ drivers, packing, Incoterm and destination | Commercial basis confirmed in the quotation |
| Supplier role | FastenersFromTurkey supplies self-tapping screws from Turkey. | Order-specific supply scope confirmed from the RFQ |
Values remain order-specific until confirmed in the quotation.
The required screw depends on the joint rather than the product name alone. Availability is confirmed against the complete specification, including the substrate and installation method.

Thread-forming and thread-cutting behaviour, pilot-hole condition and point geometry are reviewed together to match the substrate and intended engagement.

Pan, countersunk, hex and hex-washer heads can be matched with Phillips, Pozi, Torx, hex or security drives where the drawing and installation tooling permit.

Thin sheet, harder metal, non-ferrous material, engineering plastics and mixed joints require different pilot-hole, torque and thread-engagement checks.

Material test documentation, inspection reports, coating checks and agreed third-party inspection are established before quotation when they are part of the buyer requirement.
Request QuoteState the governing standard or drawing wherever one exists. A familiar head shape or legacy DIN reference is not enough to establish equivalence.
| RFQ field | What to specify | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Thread action | Thread-forming or thread-cutting; prepared-hole condition | Determines how the mating material is displaced or removed |
| Size and length | Gauge, metric or ST designation; length and measurement basis | Avoids mixing gauge, metric and ST systems |
| Head, drive and point | Head profile, drive, point, washer or seal | Aligns seating, tooling, torque and installation access |
| Substrate and joint | Material, hardness, thickness, stack and load | Confirms pilot-hole, engagement and stripping risk |
| Material and finish | Steel or stainless grade; coating and corrosion-test target | Links mechanical, corrosion and hydrogen-embrittlement controls |
| Documents and delivery | MTC type, inspection, quantity, packaging, destination and Incoterm | Sets the eligible route and commercial quotation basis |
FastenersFromTurkey supplies and exports the order; manufacturing evidence and certificates remain attributed to the responsible issuer.
Substrate, joint stack, pilot-hole condition, installation method and service load are reviewed before a configuration is proposed.
Open points in thread system, head, drive, point, material, finish or corrosion target are identified before commercial routing.
Quantity, annual demand, packaging, destination, Incoterm and required documents are consolidated into the RFQ.
Document requirements may change the eligible manufacturer, inspection plan and commercial basis.
Type 3.1 and 3.2 documents are not interchangeable. State the required type, witness and report format in the RFQ.
Dimensions, mechanical properties, drive or proof testing, coating thickness, corrosion testing and lot traceability can be reviewed as applicable.
Certificate of origin, packing list, commercial invoice, PPAP/APQP coordination and agreed third-party inspection can be reviewed for suitable programmes.
Self-tapping screws may be reviewed for sheet-metal assembly, HVAC equipment, electrical enclosures, appliances, fabrication, roofing and mixed-material joints.
Define access, tooling, drive torque, installation speed, vibration and pull-out requirements.
State corrosion environment, sealing requirement, coating test method and acceptance criterion.
Include removal and reassembly expectations, automation needs, drawing tolerances and annual volume.
Provide the drawing or standard, screw geometry, substrate, material, coating, quantity and destination.
We identify pilot-hole, performance, document, packaging or commercial points that need confirmation.
Order-specific feasibility and the agreed inspection/document package are confirmed for the RFQ.
The quotation defines scope, packing, Incoterm and delivery assumptions for buyer review.
It depends on the substrate and screw type. Thread-forming self-tapping screws often work in a pre-drilled or punched pilot hole; thicker or harder sections may require a pilot hole to prevent stripping. Send the substrate and thickness for RFQ review.
FastenersFromTurkey can review RFQs for both types. Selection depends on the substrate, thickness, prepared-hole condition, installation method and load requirement.
Carbon or alloy steel, stainless steel and finishes such as zinc, zinc-flake, black oxide or hot-dip galvanizing can be reviewed depending on the part and order scope. Specific grades, hardness classes and corrosion-test targets are confirmed for the RFQ.
Supplier-level EN 10204 Type 3.1 or 3.2 documentation and relevant inspection reports can be coordinated when required. Certificate of origin, PPAP/APQP support and agreed third-party inspection can also be reviewed with the RFQ.
Share the drawing or standard together with joint details, material, coating, quantity, documentation and destination. We will review open technical and commercial points before quotation.

A drawing, part sample or installation photograph with the substrate and quantity helps confirm order-specific feasibility and supply scope faster.
Request QuoteSelf-tapping performance depends on the substrate, thickness and pilot-hole condition as much as the thread form. A thread-forming or thread-cutting label does not guarantee engagement; the complete part-and-substrate combination must be validated against the actual joint and approved product data.
